I discovered this stunning rose gracing the market stall in a small town in Japan.  Alas, I couldn’t bring her home to my own garden….

One of the birth flowers for June is the rose.   In styling this image, I wanted to show that while the rose is often perceived as elegant, it also symbolises power, devotion and beauty.  Like us, there are many facets to its personality!
